K Fellfarers - the outdoor club for people in south Cumbria
Gallery 2010 - August
Rod Muncey celebrated his 50th birthday by completing his final Wainwright with a group of Fellfarers. After paddling across Ullswater to Howtown, the group proceeded up Martindale for the ascent of The Nab. A picnic at the new Martindale Church, complete with champagne, celebrated the occasion, and a paddle back across Ullswater completed a special day.. The photo on the right shows Rod paddling across Ullswater with Hugh Below left shows Rod on his final Wainwright watching George Smallwood build a tower of stones, and below right is the picnic. |
